Spring/Summer Fashion for the Bride-to-be

Bonjour mes amis,

I have a confession to make…something which I've been harbouring for a while...I am in LOVE…with Collette Dinnigan!!

Even though her latest bridal collection has been out for a little while now, I’m still completely and utterly in awe of both her Snow White & Secret Garden collections.

With beautiful lace detailing and breathtaking embellishments you can't go wrong with Collette Dinnigan. The shape and design of her dresses show that this designer not only knows how to dress women (let's face it, that's no secret when talking about Collette Dinnigan!) but that she also has the ability to know what brides look for in a wedding dress. Take a few minutes to look through both collections on her website and whether you're having a formal affair or a more relaxed garden wedding or anything in between you're bound to find something for you. http://www.collettedinnigan.com

I don’t want to ruin the experience for you with my blabbing so I thought I’d let the pictures speak for themselves.

Collette Dinnigan - Bridal - Snow White Collection:

Collette Dinnigan has boutiques in Sydney, Melbourne and London. Check their website for details.

With the 2010 spring/summer collections shown in New York the reports came flying in: lace, volume and textured layers are key elements this season. With standouts presented by Vera Wang who added a little extra detail to her collection by incorporating bows on most of her dresses. Monique Lhuillier who so beautifully layered her gowns and added delicate detail with her effortless lace work, and Carolina Herrera who reinvented the classic wedding dress with a black floral print there’s plenty of options for every bride-to-be who wants to stand out from the crowd. Pair these looks with a modern bun or up-do and you’re bound to be a fashionable spring bride.
